    This will sound laughably like one of those OTT testimonials you read in the adverts and spot in an instant as a palpable fake, but I heard myself coming out with it in all sincerity to an old friend/advisor to my mother:
    "Honestly, trying to bring the property to full legalness in order to even contemplate putting it on the market has been hell: my lawyer tells me nothing about the looking taxes or deadlines or progress on the Will or definitive topography findings or which building permits actually exist ... if not for the regular hawk-eyed updates in Corfu Blues, I'd be even deeper in the dark ... and when I *am* in the deepest dark and ready to despair, the Blues man posts exactly the right cheering music links."
    We did in fact laugh when i pointed out how fluent a testimonialiser I'd just sounded.
