The engine gied another scream,

The speed began to slacken now.

"T'is strange to I," zed Rabin Hill,

This hoss should kick up such a row.


"If my old 'ooman did but know

That I had gone so vur from home,

that I had ventured in the train,

I warn't she'd kept I zafe at home."
