500 Years A School, 1519-2019

King's School, Bruton, Somerset, and the story of its dolphin logo (YouTube)

It doesn't seem so long ago that this account of my old school (below) was published (1950) with the title "Four Hundred Years A School". I suppose Geoffrey Sale, the Headmaster at the time, wrote it to commemorate the re-founding of the school in 1550. The original foundation was in 1519.

From the book, King's School, Bruton, Remembered

I knew nothing about the 500th Celebrations, but found this information on the internet.
